Our one hour Little Farm Friends experience introduces children to the joy of being around friendly farm animals. At the start of the session, each child receives their very own portioned feed basket.
Guided by our host, your group will explore the farm together, visiting our animals and scattering or tossing supplied feed in designated areas under close supervision.
Because we work with live animals, every visit is unique! Some animals eagerly head over to greet visitors, while others prefer to watch from a distance. Teaching children to approach animals gently and respectfully is a key part of the journey.
A little preparation goes a long way to making your day at Little Farm Friends smooth and memorable! Here is everything you need to know and pack before heading out to meet the animals.
To make sure everyone stays comfortable and safe during your visit to Little Farm Friends, please remember to bring and wear the following:

If you are staying on the farm for a picnic after your session, please pack the following extra items to make your meal comfortable:

Rubbish bag
Farm bins aren’t available for picnic rubbish. Everything brought onto the farm for your picnic must leave with you.
Every paying child receives their own Little Farm Friends feed basket at the beginning of their experience, containing a carefully portioned amount of appropriate animal feed.
We encourage children to save some food for each stop as we make our way around the farm together.
Feed quantities are carefully managed for the health and wellbeing of our animals, so additional feed isn’t automatically provided once a basket has been used.
Visitors must only feed animals food supplied or specifically approved by Little Farm Friends please don’t bring your own animal feed or give picnic food to our animals.

Food brought from home must not be fed to the animals.
