Little Farm Friends – Terms & Conditions

By making a booking with Little Farm Friends, the person making the booking agrees to these Terms & Conditions on behalf of themselves and confirms that they are authorised to make the booking for the participants included in their booking. 

Bookings 

Little Farm Friends operates primarily through pre-booked sessions. A booking is not secured until the booking process has been successfully completed and confirmation has been issued. 

General public sessions are limited to a maximum of 10 paying children per session. 

Private birthday experiences, childcare, preschool, playgroup, homeschool and other group visits are arranged separately by enquiry and may operate under different group arrangements agreed at the time of booking. 

Pricing 

Standard general-session admission is: 

Children: $25 each. 

Adults: One supervising adult is included free with each family booking. Up to two additional adults may be added for $10 each, with a maximum of three adults per family booking. 

Children under 2: Free when accompanying a paying sibling. 

Picnic Stay: $30 per family booking when selected. 

Current prices displayed during the booking process apply to the booking. 

Payment 

Customers may be offered the option to: 

Pay Online Now, or Pay Cash on Arrival. 

A valid payment card may be required to secure a booking, including bookings where payment will be made in cash on arrival. 

Payment card information is processed by our payment provider. Little Farm Friends does not intentionally collect or store customers’ complete payment card numbers. 

Children & Supervision 

Children must remain appropriately supervised by their accompanying parent, guardian or responsible adult throughout their visit. 

Little Farm Friends staff or hosts facilitate the farm experience but do not replace the responsibility of the accompanying parent, guardian or responsible adult for supervising the children in their care. 

Children must not wander around the property or enter paddocks, enclosures or other areas unless specifically permitted by a Little Farm Friends host. 

SafeWork NSW specifically warns that visiting children should not be allowed to wander around farms unsupervised because animals, machinery, water and other farm features can present significant hazards.  

Animal Interactions 

Little Farm Friends is a real family farm and our animals are living animals with individual behaviours, personalities and boundaries. 

Animal interactions cannot be guaranteed. 

Little Farm Friends may restrict, alter or discontinue access to an animal or activity at any time where reasonably necessary for animal welfare, visitor safety, weather conditions or operational reasons. 

Visitors must follow all instructions given by Little Farm Friends hosts. 

Animal Feeding 

Only animal feed supplied or specifically approved by Little Farm Friends may be given to our animals. 

Direct hand-to-mouth animal feeding is not permitted. 

Children may scatter or toss appropriate supplied feed for selected animals in designated areas under supervision. 

Visitors do not enter the goat paddock. Supplied goat feed may be tossed or scattered into the designated feeding area from outside the enclosure. 

Food brought onto the property for human consumption must not be given to any animal. 

Designated Interaction Area 

Children may enter designated visitor interaction areas with selected animals where permitted and under supervision. 

Visitors must not enter restricted paddocks, animal enclosures, private areas or other areas of the property unless expressly permitted by a Little Farm Friends host. 

Clothing & Footwear 

Visitors should wear appropriate clothing for an outdoor farm environment. 

Closed-toe footwear is strongly recommended. 

Visitors should also bring appropriate sun and weather protection, including sunscreen, hats, drinking water and weather-appropriate clothing. 

Farm Environment 

Visitors acknowledge that Little Farm Friends operates in an outdoor farm environment. 

Farm environments can include uneven or slippery ground, dirt, grass, mud, animal manure, fencing, gates, insects, plants, changing weather and animals. 

Visitors must remain within designated visitor areas and follow instructions and signage. 

Hygiene 

Visitors should use the provided handwashing facilities after animal interaction and before eating or drinking. 

Parents and guardians are responsible for assisting young children with appropriate hygiene. 

Picnic Stay 

Where Picnic Stay is purchased, the family may remain in the designated picnic area for up to one additional hour following their standard animal experience. 

Picnic Stay costs $30 per family booking. 

Visitors must bring their own picnic supplies. 

No additional animal feeding takes place during Picnic Stay. 

Food brought for the picnic must not be fed to the animals. 

All rubbish and belongings brought for the picnic must be taken away by the customer. Farm bins are not available for picnic rubbish. 

Visitor Behaviour 

Little Farm Friends may require a visitor to stop an activity or leave the property where the visitor: 

• fails to follow reasonable safety instructions;  

• enters restricted areas;  

• mistreats, chases, frightens or deliberately provokes an animal;  

• repeatedly breaches animal-feeding rules;  

• behaves aggressively, dangerously or disruptively; or  

• creates an unreasonable risk to themselves, another visitor or an animal.  

Where removal is reasonably required because of the visitor’s conduct, a refund may not be provided, subject to applicable law. 

Weather & Operational Changes 

Little Farm Friends operates outdoors and may modify, postpone or cancel experiences due to severe weather, unsafe conditions, animal welfare concerns or other circumstances that make operating the experience inappropriate or unsafe. 

Where Little Farm Friends cancels a session, customers will be offered a transfer to another available session or a refund of amounts paid for the cancelled experience. 

Personal Property 

Visitors are responsible for their personal belongings while on the property. 

Little Farm Friends is not responsible for loss or damage to personal property except to the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded. 

Photography 

Little Farm Friends may take general photographs of the farm and animals. 

Identifiable photographs or videos of customer children will not be used for Little Farm Friends marketing based solely on acceptance of these Terms. 

Any consent for marketing use of identifiable photographs or video of a child will be requested separately and must be optional. 

Australian Consumer Law 

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
